The unit is absolutely perfect, in a fantastic location and stacked with character. From our first meeting Zoe and Hilary made us feel so welcome and like the place was our own. They provided a clear breakdown of everything we needed for our time in store and also popped in to visit us when we were open.

‘Blemish’, 2020 Roddy MacNeill
I exhibited at Nicolls in October 2020. As you can imagine a lot of uncertainty lead up to the show but Hillary and Zoe were practical and calm every step of the way. I had a very specific vision for the show and Nicolls were extremely patient with every request and query.
The space itself is excellent, everything in it’s right place…totally organised for every eventuality. The location, Dumbarton Road near Thornwood roundabout, was a bit of an unknown for me but it could not have been better. Lots of people out for a pandemic stroll popped in and I had so many conversations with interesting people…and sales(!).

“We had a wonderful two day pop up showcasing my handmade copper lamps & candlesticks and repurposed wooden tables. The space was so perfect to exhibit my work. Hilary and Zoe were amazing – so helpful and kind. The size and lay out of the space was great as it felt like a blank canvas but it also has a comfortable feel that adds to the atmosphere of the shop. The two days flew by and we had lots of people pop in to chat and look at our work and also lots of sales! Thank you so much H&Z for giving us a wonderful space to use and a perfect set up to showcase our pieces. We can’t wait to be back again soon.”
